TMWC US Open preview: Women’s 57, 59 and 62 kg

Titan Mercury’s womens middleweights are full of young, promising talent. With one registered athlete in 57 and 59 kg, along with two at 62 kg, TMWC will be looking for big things from their group of middleweights.

57: Cameron Guerin: Guerin enters the senior ranks after making her impact at the junior level in years past. Originally from Washington, where she won 4 state titles, Guerin has moved to the Olympic Training Center to be a part of the EAP. Guerin will be the lone 57 kg TMWC wrestler. 

59: Megan Black: Black has wrestled at the senior level for several seasons now, while still competing at the junior and university level. She made the U-23 World team in 2017. The former McKendree All American is looking capitalize off of her past experiences and come away with the U.S. Open title. 

62: Brenda Reyna: One of the latest additions to the TMWC roster, Reyna is a standout wrestler for McKendree. Like Guerin, Brenda is originally from Washington where she excelled at the prep level. This will be Reyna’s first U.S. Open for Titan Mercury. 

62: Brianna Csontos: The final entry at 62 kg is Brianna Csontos. Csontos has continued to progress throughout her wrestling career with TMWC. The Columbia University wrestler is looking to make this year’s World Team Trials and make her mark at 62 kg.
